Created in 1974, Ekilater S.A. is a family company that manufactures plastic technical pieces by injection process. It is located in Ripollet (Barcelona).       The plant consists of ground floor of 1500 m2 and a first floor of 300 m2 used as an office. 16 horizontal injection machines and a mould workshop are placed in the ground floor.         The staff is constituted by 20 people and there are two working shifts: from 6:00 to 14:00 and from 14:00 to 22:00.         Ekilater has about 40 clients from different sectors (instrumentation, electricity, the car industry, building, etc.)         30% of production is exported abroad and the rest of it remains in the Spanish market.
